1 Samuel 24:12-15

New International Version

¹² May the Lord judge^(A) between you and me. And may the Lord avenge^(B) the wrongs you have done to me, but my hand will not touch you. ¹³ As the old saying goes, ‘From evildoers come evil deeds,^(C)’ so my hand will not touch you.

¹⁴ “Against whom has the king of Israel come out? Who are you pursuing? A dead dog?^(D) A flea?^{(E) 15} May the Lord be our judge^(F) and decide^(G) between us. May he consider my cause and uphold^(H) it; may he vindicate^(I) me by delivering^(J) me from your hand.”
